Tonya is the owner of Herbal Muse Apothecary with over 15 years’ experience. She will teach on edible and or medicinal plants. On our nature walk, we will be looking for wild lettuce & creeping Charlie for pain, dandelion & burdock for liver and kidney health, alfalfa & chickweed for cellular hydration and several others. We will pick plants and eat them later in a salad as part of our lunch. There will be time for questions about your individual health and what plants you can use to get relief. Lunch will be provided.
Suggestions to bring for the day: Notebook/pen, sun hat, water bottle scissors/clippers and good walking shoes. A basket or backpack helpful for the pickings.
Teens are encouraged to join us as to pass on this knowledge.
