The gospel of Jesus Christ is simply this. Repent, for the Kingdom of God is at hand. It isn’t, “Come into our nice church and feel good.” It isn’t, “Make them comfortable, play some games, and then possibly tell them Jesus loves them.” It is, “Repent, for the Kingdom of God is at hand.” This is straight out of Jesus’ Mouth.
Once you repent, the Kingdom of God indwells you. You become the Kingdom, Jesus Christ becomes a part of you. You serve a different king. You serve something other than the flesh from that point forward. And yet, here we are, “Churches” are trying to “Sell” Christianity to people. That’s not the way it works. You can’t have your cake and eat it too. You have to turn from your wicked, fleshly ways and follow after God’s ways.
We have cheapened the gospel so much, and it is costing souls. Repent, for the Kingdom of God is at hand.
