Churches don’t want people to move. They want people to sit. They don’t want you to learn new things or get outside the box. They don’t want to fulfill a real purpose. They want to absorb the information THEY want you to know, and if you go outside of that, it’s wrong.
The perspective and paradigm in which you read the Bible changes everything. It was written as letters to people. It wasn’t written in verses and chapters. Each book is a LETTER to someone. So you read it without breaks. You read it like a letter, one whole.
Understand that when you change the order and structure of the Bible it takes on a different meaning. The first verse in a chapter sets the tone for that chapter, and affects how you interpret everything in that chapter. Whereas if you read it as a letter, everything flows in a way that makes so much more sense.
Christ divides. Christ does not unify, He divides. He came not to bring peace, but a sword. Jesus Christ came not to bring unity, He came to bring division. What does the world want more than anything? Unity. What fellowship has light and darkness? Christ only unifies those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. You must be a Christ follower FIRST, then unity comes out of that.
