Our Sin is Not Our Identity

The Lord provides a way out. Understand this folks, The Lord always gives us a way out of temptation, because he is faithful. God’s standards don’t lessen just because we sin more. God’s love doesn’t change because we want to identify with our sin. He has a standard, and it doesn’t shrink. We have to rise to the occasion and repent, then Jesus Christ gives us the ability to meet God’s standard.
The modern American “Church” is denying the power of Christ. They are denying the power of Christ because then they have to repent of their wicked ways. They have to answer to the fact they failed as parents, because their son is a homo. They have to rely on Christ, instead of themselves.
The pride of life is everywhere in the modern Church. Pastors don’t want real Christians because then they have to admit failure. It’s easier just to ignore it and continue on in ignorance.
David Arthur is a man of Christ. His testimony is that of redemption, and salvation from the most incredible wickedness. Pastors and modern “Churches” don’t want to hear it. They don’t want to hear of the saving grace of Christ and the REPENTANCE required for that grace to fall.
Repentance is the first step folks. You can’t do it alone. You have to die to yourself and be reborn in the image of Christ. He is our identity, not our sin.
