The problem is that America is a spectator country. We just sit and watch what is happening, without ever actually playing the game. We do it with our kids. We do it with our jobs. We do it with everything in our lives. We just sit and watch, then get surprised when it doesn’t go our way.
If Jesus Christ isn’t lord of your life, then he isn’t your savior either. Do you think this game doesn’t require anything in return? You’ve got to be sold out to Jesus and follow him. It’s not a pick and choose thing. You are all in or you aren’t in. So, take your faith seriously and get in the game.
We each should strive be a lightning rod for God. When God’s lightning strikes, we dissipate it to those around us.
Stop being a spectator and start playing the game.
