Today’s show takes on the questions: Who are the ‘sons of God’ as mentioned in Scripture? Who are the fallen angels? What about the Nephilim? Where did giants and demons come from? What happened to these giant/Nephilim “hybrids” in the Flood? Did evil spirits live on, after the Flood?
Some speculate that the disembodied spirits of the Nephilim remained on the earth and became what we call “demons.” The New Testament obviously had a knowledge of demons and the need for demons to inhabit physical bodies. What is the purpose of needing a body? Do they have desires as humans do – for food, sex, etc. and need a body to fulfill their lusts?
God told the Israelites in the Old Testament to kill all their enemies, and not to let their daughters and sons to intermarry with them because they were “unclean.” Does this mean they had unclean spirits?
Beware of dismissing all of this. Hosea 4:6 says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to Me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.”
We need to keep asking good questions, learning and growing closer to Jesus!
