The eclipse is today. There’s nothing we can do to stop it. The end of the world is 33 days after that, apparently. There’s nothing we can do about that either. So, why don’t we stop looking at the sky and look around us in our lives and start helping those around us? These distractions of eclipses and signs and the end of the world every year since 2000 have done nothing to help anyone. We need to wake up and be in the world we live.

Start a neighborhood watch program. Know your neighbors, get ready, be prepared, build community, and change lives. Throw the net on the other side of the boat. Stop fishing in the church and start fishing right where you are.

Remember to Pass the Salt.
