Stay Close to the Fire | Coach Dave Live | 1-7-2020

The show opened considering upcoming events including standing in support of Alan Hoyle in Charlotte North Carolina and going to Richmond Virginia to stand for the Second Amendment.  See the link below to view all the events.

The battle we are fighting is over the question “Who is God?”  The Huddle turned to Exodus 20 and discussed the Ten Commandments.  There are other gods.  God said in Exodus 20 that He is THE GOD.  “Do Christians today really believe that there is only one God?” Asked Coach.  “If we really believe this then why are Christians promoting the idea of tolerance of other Gods?”

“Do the Jews and the Christians serve the same God?” Coach asked.  “Is Jesus King of Kings and Lords of Lords or is He not?”  How did gods other than Jesus Christ become coequal with Him?  There are nations in the world that kill people for being Christians.  Why are we so tolerant of other gods?

“We are miseducated.” Answered Coach.  There are 2.1 billion Christians in the world.  The Huddle considered a list of religions in the world from the article linked below titled, “What are the Worlds Religions.”  There are 14 million Jews.  Coach asked if Christians and Jews worship the same god when Jews reject Jesus Christ.

“They may worship the Father, but they have no way to get to Him because they reject Jesus Christ, the Messiah.” Claimed a Huddler.  Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life.  No man comes to the Father except through me.”  Coach went on to say, “Everything we see around us in the world is a religious war.”

Coach read the definition of the word “religion” from Websters Dictionary.  See in the links below.  He then discussed the First Amendment to the Constitution.

Separation of Church and State has been perverted into separation of the people from morality.  The Huddle considered the great commission.  “The battle is over who is King.” Said Coach.  Culturally America started, and remains, Christian.

Multiculturalism has perverted U.S.

“There’s no such thing as Judeo-Christian.” Said Coach.  “The people in Israel do not follow Christian principles.”  Our values are Christian, not Judeo-Christian.

Robert Klous shared from his devotional, “Finders Keepers.”
