Eric Ludy’s video, The Ancient War Cry, tells us that the Hebrew word “chazak” means “rocklike oomph of a tenacious soul, a spirit-inspired warrior. A flush of spiritual fervor.”

We don’t have that in America. We should but we don’t. Did you k now you have everything you need for life and godliness, in Christ Jesus?

Chazak is Hebrew for  “heavenly audacity. Rushing into battle without considering the consequences.”

David rushed headlong against Goliath.  Having a confidence in victory even before you take to the field of battle.

Hebrew “amats” means “faith in the Lord, in battle.”

But we’re not there in America, today. Men in the church are only invited to be ushers, or do “random acts of kindness.” Where is the courage? Where is the Chazak Amats?!

Is America’s church dying because of the spiritual suicide of men? Many men would rather give their lives on the battlefield, than live the effeminized life of civilians in the church. Soldiers, after being trained to become masculine warriors, struggle to reacclimate into society, because it forces them to be effeminate.

The Old Testament Joshua (same name as Jesus) commanded Israel, saying, “Have I not commanded thee, be strong and of good courage. Neither be thou dismayed. For the Lord thy God is with thee.”
