The Slings and Arrows of Outrageous Fortune

Description

Most people agree with us about the issues affecting our culture, and  influencing our students, but they won’t   defend God’s position publicly. Instead, they read the vile posts against the Christian positions, on my website, and stay silent. Why won’t the Christians speak out?

The packet of salt is a blessing. If you don’t open that packet, you don’t open yourself up to receive salt. You won’t be blessed if you go your own way. If you won’t do it, God will find someone else to do it.

Taking “the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune.” Hamlet, Act 3, Scene 1 “To be, or not to be: that is the question: Whether ’tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, or to take arms against a sea of troubles, and by opposing, end them?”

Matthew 5:10, 11 “Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.  Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for My sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted the prophets which were before you. You are the salt of the earth…You are the light of the world.”
