Courage to Lead

Jesus led from the front. Mel Gibson in Braveheart, declared, “Men don’t follow titles, they follow courage. If you would lead to freedom, they’d follow you.”
Voddie Baucham says, “The Church will not tolerate mature Christian men.” In any other field, where a man has been in a career for 20-40 years, we’d assume the experienced man is able to teach the younger man. The younger men should be learning from the mature older ones. But not in the church. Sad. Wrong.
Jesus understands the warfare we’re in. He leads the way. We should be the point men, if we lead others, we will inspire others.
