Great spiritual victories are won or lost on our willingness to endure spiritual hardship and temptation out of love and faithfulness to the Lord.
When we’re in training, we need to be buffeted. God reveals things to us by the Holy Spirit. We need to tap into that which God has for us. We might have to go fight for those things, but they are available for us.
Some of us are on 1G with the Holy Spirit. Let’s up that!
You will experience weakness at times, and we like to feel strong and in control. Fasting teaches us to trust God.
There are different kinds of fasts. It is normal to drink water during fasting. Another fast is to only have 1 meal per day.
Start simply. If you’re not used to fasting, maybe start with 1 meal a day. When you train, you start small and work up to the harder things.
