The Unfruitful Works of Darkness

“There’s been a jailbreak, the biggest in history,” exclaimed the Coach as he opened Monday’s daily show.  “I’ve been released from my thirty-day Facebook imprisonment!”

The average Facebook user is a thirty-five-year-old woman.  It has become a “rest home” for guys like us.  Coach asked people to go to his page and like his comments.  He said that will make his page better.

The Huddle talked about how the young people have moved beyond Facebook.  This makes Facebook a good platform for doing education.  “This is a good vehicle for us,” said the Coach.

If Facebook puts us in prison again know that the show is always available at www.coachdavelive.com

Chad gave a report on the weekend event at his home in Texas.  He was pleased to have some new couple attend.  There were some youth there, which was encouraging.

Coach talked about his plan to hold “Huddles” around America.

Larry suggested that the politicians are not going to fix the big issues like the threat from Islam.  He mentioned an organization that he founded that is focused on putting pressure on politicians to do what they are unwilling to do.   “If STAB fails the nation fails.”  Said Larry Richardson.  STAB is the acronym for his new organization.

Coach reminded everyone of a point that is often made by Flip Benham, “Islam, abortion and homosexuality are three fingers of the same fist that is being used to destroy our culture.”

Jim Jordan from Ohio met Donald Trump for the first time this weekend.  Coach showed a video clip of the two of them meeting.  Coach pointed out that it is amazing that the two of them had never met before.

Coach turned to the Sarah Jeong controversy.  Candace Owens got herself banned on Twitter by substituting racial groups other than “Whites” in the offensive tweets by Sarah Jeong.

“Why is OK for Jeong to attack whites on Twitter but it isn’t OK for Owens to use the same epithets against blacks, women etc.” asked the Coach.

Ephesians 5

Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;

2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savior.

3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;

4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.

5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them.

8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)

10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.

Coach talked about ministering at a gay pride parade and a wedding this weekend.  Coach noticed that many of the couples at the wedding were shacking up, fornicating.  Coach was convicted of his own hypocrisy in not confronting the fornication at the wedding but confronting the sin of sodomy at the gay pride parade.

Coach asked, “What has happened to the American society where a young man is openly living with and fornicating with another man’s daughter and the father doesn’t say anything about it?”

Coach asked, “What happened to the dad?”

We think nothing of fornication anymore.

Another member of the Huddle talked about having a similar experience at a wedding this weekend.  In this case it was a lesbian couple that has kids.

Dale Socia pointed out that this is more evidence that we are living in a place like Sodom and Gomorrah.

This is a great failure of Dad not drawing a line.

George pointed out that this is opening pandora’s box.  This situation hurts the women the most.

If we’d built honor into our daughters this would not be happening.

Daddy’s need to honor their daughters starting at a very early age.  Coach told a story about his daughter wanting to go to an eighth-grade dance.

Chad pointed out that it isn’t enforced because the men did it themselves.  That weakens the man’s ability to draw a line.

Coach observed, “It is no wonder our kids are disrespecting our faith.”

“If God is not respected in a nation than we will be brought down as a nation,” said Dale Socia.

There is no evidence that we believe the scripture so there is no power.
